Anne-Carmel Nimbali Wilson, a Ngan’gikurunggurr woman b. c. 1980, started painting in 2000, following in the footsteps of her mother Regina Wilson.
Anne-Carmel’s work often depicts thedurrmudesigns (dot body painting) in a beautifully intricate, layered style using warm, dark colours. She also paints bush tucker scenes and weaving designs.
Anne-Carmel also works at the CDEP office and lives at Peppimenarti with her husband and two young daughters.
